Join us on Thursday 25th April 2024, at TU Delft from 12:00 to 17:00 for a special symposium organized by the KIVI Geotechnical Department. Registration is required and can be done until 12th April.

About the Symposium:

We're commemorating the remarkable legacy of Prof. Dr. Ir. Arnold Verruijt, former Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at TU Delft from 1980 to 2002. Prof. Verruijt was known for bridging theory and practice in geotechnical engineering, pioneering digitalization through open-source software, and inspiring countless students.

Program Highlights:

Engaging lectures by experienced colleagues who worked alongside Prof. Verruijt. Insights from the next generation of Geo-Engineering students and PhD candidates. Networking opportunities and a delightful post-symposium reception. Kick off the day with a shared lunch at 12:00, followed by stimulating presentations starting at 13:00. Stick around after the symposium for drinks served at 16:00.

Calling all Geotechnical enthusiasts, this symposium promises to enlighten and inspire. Don't miss this chance to honor Prof. Verruijt's legacy and connect with like-minded individuals in the field. Register through the following link:
